So yes—Radio Land, and me, being interviewed by a radio man about The Great Big Lap of Golfing Goodness. Pretty nervous before going on but once started talking pretty much yarned for Australia, in fact I think he wanted me to shut up, such was my enthusiasm. The studio was in the town of Bunbury which is WA’s biggest regional town and has shops where you can buy guns. Didn’t buy any guns but did drive up to Mandurah, a sort of McMansion Land 50km south of Perth where lots of people have boats. Anyway who am I social demographer Bernard Salt? I’d live in a McMansion and get around in a boat if I could, you betcha. Anyway—I will find out how to get a copy of of the podcast thingo of the radio interview and you can listen with slack-jawed wonder.
