The National—Moonah Course

This is The National’s Moonah Course (they have three, all superb) which is a links-style beauty of wind and grass in Mornington Peninsula rated No.9 in Australia.

 

Now—I’m not one normally given to outrageous hyperbole. (Ha.) But to play this golf course is a golfer’s dream of having a wet dream while awake and the dream coming true because it is true and the golfer realising they are not dreaming about having a wet dream because they are awake and the dream is true but it’s not really a dream because it is actually true.

 

True story.

It is that good.

But I chipped and ran to ten-feet and rolled in a cracking downhill putt for the par which made me hugely some might say disproportionately compared to the world’s current state of affairs happy.

 

I understand this is of little interest.
