Kevin:happy, after sinking his one putt for the day at Huntingdale GC and hence not having to shout a beer. Such is the Joy of Golf. Look at him, he’s almost running, such is his joy, the little fellah. |
|
Stayed in The Novotel on The Esplanade of St.Kilda, interesting bayside ’burb of junkies and backpackers and beautiful types, of people. Played golf at Huntingdale Thursday which is flash as a rat with a mouthful of gold teeth and Rolexes and bars of gold. Then went down to Mornington and played at The National, possibly God’s gift to golf, then Settler’s Run, which is Greg Norman’s gift. One of them anyway, the great Shark-man. Anyway it’s good: Melbourne.. |

So yes, Melbourne Town, land of milk and honey, and golf and … that’s it. Milk, golf, honey, and in St.Kilda anyway, heaps of crack. And craic. It is the richest of tapestries. |
