Guest Columnist Steve Stallion Says Go For Tweakers In T20 And Hoss Amor In Moonee Valley

The Stallion has a theory on the T20 World Cup that he would love to share with The World:
The game is made for spinners.
Yep. Spinners. Thin-armed little rabbits who tweak their stuff, and make it look like they know what they’re doing.
In my eyes, there are but two (tee-yew) and only two (tee-yew) spinners worth sitting down to watch, ball after ball.
One because he had it on a string. You know who I mean.
The other because anyone who can bend their elbow and get away with it deserves the odd wicket. Heck-fire, the guy changed the rules of cricket for God’s sake! Something about the 8 degrees of separation or whatever? Whatever, he did it and got a thousand Test scalps along the way. I also love the fact that every commentator pronounces his name differently.
Anyway! These little squirts will be The Reason that whoever wins this funny little cricket carnival gets to hold up the trophy. They will spin their way to glory on the Sub Continental Dirt. Take it to the bank via Centrebet.
Bet on stumpings as Method of Dismissal and spinners to take most wickets. And bet your life that the team with the best spinners will win the job lot.
For mine, that will not be Australia. Because their spinner is Brad Hogg, who is 42. Puuulleeeaassssee. Gimme a break. You can’t pick a bloke because of a tongue.
In other news, next Friday night sees the return of the mighty Filly ”Hoss Amor”. She will be running very fast around Moonee Valley racecourse in the first night meeting of the year. It’s a Group 3 race worth $125K so it won’t be a pushover, but she is classier than the other 3 year old fillies around, which is why she will win.
Other Stallion Black Bookers That Will All Win Very Soon include:
Dear Demi – Very serious filly, will win a Group 1 probably The Oaks in Sydney.
Yosei - Is not coming up to Sydney for the weather, and always wins at good prices
Midnight Martini - Forget it’s run last week when ridden to lead. Next start will get back and run on to win at a good price. Get on early because the owners always back it when it wins. Get on early though because the owners don’t mind a punt.
